This week is Spirit Week! To celebrate our fall musical, Sister Act, the cast and crew have planned some fun dress-up days! Themes are posted in the hallways, in the announcements, and on the TVs in the cafeteria. Join us in showing our school spirit!
Wednesday 10/30- Pajama Day!
There will also be a candy raffle in the cafeteria all next week for your chance to win tickets to see Sister Act! Join us on November 1st, and 2nd at 7:00pm, or 3rd at 2:00pm in the Performing Arts Center. Be Fabulous, Baby!
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.
Club/Team News
Creative Writing Club - Creative Writing Club will meet TODAY in 117, college and career center, to celebrate Halloween and vote on the submitted Halloween poems. See you there!
FSCAB - The next FSCAB meeting will be TOMORROW Wednesday, October 30th in room 113. We will be celebrating Halloween! Hope to see you all there.
Student Services News
Are you interested in the military, but also considering college as well? Join Mrs. Kenny and Petty Officer Davis from the US Navy to learn about the Navy ROTC Scholarship program. Sign up for this informational session this Friday, 11/1 during Spartan Plus. Filter Student Services, then Kenny.
Athletic News
Cheer - Competition Cheer tryouts will be held TODAY Tuesday, October 29 from 3:30pm to 6:00pm in gym 101. Registration on our Athletic website must be completed prior to the tryout date and a current physical is required. If you have any questions, please see Coach Vanderwarren in Room 123.
Freshman Boy Basketball - Boys Basketball tryouts are on Monday, November 11 and Tuesday, November 12! We will hold a short informational meeting followed by a freshman only open gym immediately after school TODAY Tuesday, October 29 in the Auditorium Gym until 4:30. Upper classmen (Classes of 2024, 2025, 2026) Boys Basketball - Boys Basketball tryouts are on Monday, November 6 and Tuesday, November 7! We will hold a short informational meeting followed by a workout and open gym immediately after school on Thursday, October 31. We will meet in the Counseling Office Conference Room 113. Girl’s Softball - Anyone interested in playing softball in the Spring, there will be a quick meeting TOMORROW Wednesday, October 30th at 3:15pm in room 241 to discuss off season workouts. If you can’t make it, reach out to Coach Neubauer in room 241 before school.
Girl’s Wrestling - Attention any girls interested in girls wrestling this year, there will be a “girls only” open mats on Wednesday October 30th from 3:15-4:15, you will meet in the wrestling room. See coach Early if you have any questions.
