OAK LAWN BOWLER SHEIKH EARNS CORE PRINCIPLE BAND FOR DEDICATION

The athletic department at Oak Lawn Community High School has a set of core principles, and players can earn a band for each principle when they display that core principle through their actions. A four-year bowler, senior Lameis Sheikh has recently earned the band for dedication to the girls bowling team.

“Lameis brings her all to every practice and every game, always striving to do better,” said head coach Jennifer Faro. “Lameis works hard to bring up the positivity of the team and is always the loudest with the sideline cheers and leads the pregame team huddle. She is truly dedicated to the team and demonstrates all the Spartan athletics core principles.”
