Oak Lawn Community High School Student Council is proud to announce the Homecoming 2023 Homecoming Court and Grand Marshal. This year's theme is "Spartans at the Masquerade Ball." The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at the pep rally on Wednesday, September 27.
The Grand Marshal is Mary Kay Nichols, a member of the Physical Education department. About OLCHS, Nichols says “I love coming to work with my colleagues every day. After 31 years we are like a family. I love interacting with my students. As a PE teacher I get to see a different side of students in a recreational setting.”
In her personal time, Nichols enjoys hanging out with her family, husband Rich and children Lexi and JT. She loves watching college sports and the Bears.

Omar Ali, son of Nora Elmazloum of Oak Lawn, is a member of the swimming and tennis teams, the media manager for the yearbook, as well as a member of Student Helpers and the Journalism Team. His favorite staff member is Mrs. Meierkort. His favorite memory is earning a 5 in AP US History. In the future, he hopes to be an aerospace engineer.
Julia Krok, daughter of Jadwiga Wrobel of Oak Lawn, is a member of the cheer team and Student Helpers. Her favorite staff member is Mrs. DeMatteo, her favorite OLCHS memory is new student orientation every year. In the future, she hopes to be a marine biologist.
Dylan Walsh, son of Stephen and Ann Walsh of Oak Lawn, is a member of the soccer and basketball teams, as well as Student Council and Junior Class Advisory Board. His favorite staff member is Mrs. Nickless. His favorite OLCHS memory is making it to the regional finals for soccer. In the future, he hopes to study kinesiology.
Teagan Krzystof, daughter of Jennifer Krzystof of Oak Lawn, is a member of the golf, basketball, and softball teams. Her favorite staff member is Coach Neubauer. Her favorite OLCHS memory is winning back-to back conference championships for basketball. In the future, she would like to be a nurse.
Jack Dillon, son of Matt and Debra Dillon of Oak Lawn, is a member of the volleyball team, Student Helpers and Junior Class Advisory Board. His favorite staff member is Mrs. Odeh. His favorite memory at Oak Lawn is laughing with his closest friends at lunch every day. In the future, he hopes to pursue in a career in plant science or Culinary Arts.
Danielle Dempsey, daughter of George and Erin Dempsey of Oak Lawn, is a member of the golf, basketball, and softball teams. Her favorite staff member is Ms. Perras. Her favorite OLCHS memory is winning conference freshman and sophomore year in basketball. In the future, she hopes to become an esthetician.

Emeen Hamad, son of Mirvet and Khaled Hamad of Oak Lawn, is a member of the football team, Student Athletic Leadership Team, National Honor Society, as well as Senior Class President. His favorite teacher is Mr. Repa. His favorite memory is prom. In the future, he wants to pursue engineering.
Maeve Hassett, daughter of John and Helen Hassett of Oak Lawn, is captain of the basketball team, as well as a member of the volleyball team, Student Athletic Leadership Team and National Honor Society. Her favorite staff member is Mrs. Nickless. Her favorite OLCHS memory is winning the basketball conference championship. In the future, she wants to be an accountant.
Conor Lewis, son of Melissa Lewis of Oak Lawn, is captain of the volleyball team, as well as a member of the Student Athletic Leadership Team. His favorite teacher is Mr. Kenny. His favorite memory is when the volleyball team won conference. In the future, he would like to play volleyball in college.

Corey Lee, son of Leo and Krystal Lee of Oak Lawn, is a captain of the basketball team. His favorite staff member is Coach Rhodes. His favorite memory is when the basketball team beat Mt. Carmel. In the future, he would like to play basketball professionally.
Rizan Ali, daughter of Nora Elmazloum of Oak Lawn, is a member of the tennis team, secretary of National Honor Society, secretary of Muslim Student Association, and vice president of yearbook. Her favorite staff member is Mr. Long. Her favorite OLCHS memory was the Cool Day to Be Named Later. In the future, she hopes to go into the medical field.
Kyle Brennan, son of Bridget and Frank Brennan of Oak Lawn, is a member of the golf and basketball teams. His favorite staff member is Mr. Repa. His favorite OLCHS memory is winning at the Thanksgiving basketball tournament. In the future, he hopes to be an athletic trainer.
