Stuff You Need to Know
Good morning Spartans! The NHS “Share Your Soles” shoe drive is back! Last year our school community collected over 400 pairs of shoes! NHS is collecting clean, gently used, or new shoes from March 6th to March 18th. In many parts of the world families live without this necessity. The Share Your Soles organization ships the shoes we collect to the most impoverished places around the globe and/or disaster relief areas within the United States. Please put pairs of shoes (No plastic bags needed this year) into the bins outside the main office, student cafe or room 204 by Wednesday March 18. We appreciate your support!
Congratulations to the Boys’ Track & Field Team who competed at the Argo Indoor Meet. On Thursday the Varsity team took 2nd Place overall with 102 total points. JV took 1st Place overall with 128 points. Karmoni Polk took 1st in Shot Put with a massive throw of 48’8.25 ft. Cody Devine took first place in the 3200m, Daniel Magana took 1st in the 1600m and Hendryk Goetz in the Pole Vault.
Ramadan/Eid Food Drive
Now through March 13th, you can drop your Ramadan/Eid food drive items off to your 9th period for a chance to win PIZZA Party for your class! Most needed items: sugar, oil, flour, cans, pasta, salsa, rice, dates, grocery gift card, etc. All donations go to Sudan. Contact Mrs. Elmasry with any questions.

To support those observing Ramadan, the Cafe will offer bagged to-go meals through Wednesday, March 18. These meals are designed to be picked up during regular lunch periods and enjoyed later at sunset. Simply select your meal and bring it to the cashier to check out.

Boys' Volleyball - Boys' Volleyball tryouts are next Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th. You must register before trying out. If you need any help, please see coach Coppin in room 241 or coach Meyers in the media center.
