Junior Kacper Liszka truly excelled in the month of December for the Oak Lawn Community High School boys swim team. He set personal best times, he earned medals at invitationals, and he was named as Spartan Athlete of the Month.
Liszka finished third in a field of 36 swimmers at the Oak Forest Pentathlon. He had personal best times in the 100-meter butterfly and in the 100-meter backstroke. At the Kennedy Christmas Invite, Liszka took second in both the 100-meter butterfly and in the 200-meter individual medley. He was the second highest overall scorer in that meet.
In addition, he had impressive performances to help the Spartans win at a quad meet with Mount Carmel, Kennedy, and De La Salle.
