EID FINISHES SECOND AT INVITATIONALS FOR OAK LAWN BOYS WRESTLING

He may be just a sophomore, but Khalid Eid is leaving his mark with success on the mat for the Oak Lawn Community High School boys wrestling team. His record is 21-5, and he has second-place finishes at both the Matozzi Invite and the Raptor Invite. He also placed fifth at the competitive Geneva Tournament.

“Khalid has been an outstanding addition to the wrestling program,” head coach David Early said. “Beyond the results, he has been a positive presence in the wrestling room, pushing teammates to be their best and leading by example. He also does a great job in the classroom, showing what it means to be a complete student-athlete. The future is bright for this Spartan athlete.”
