Oak Lawn Community High School has been named a Bronze member to the 2024-25 AP School Honor Roll. Oak Lawn Community High School had 43% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 28% of seniors scored a three or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 12% of seniors took five or more AP Exams!
Schools can earn the Honor Roll recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing their school’s college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Principal Dr. Lauren May said, “Our AP program provides students with college-level experiences in high school as well as the opportunity to earn college credit, which often reduces college costs. I am proud of the work of our students, their AP instructors, and all our staff members who support them.”
