MRS. ELMASRY PRESENTS AT CONFERENCE

Oak Lawn Community High School teacher Mawra Elmasry recently presented at the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Convention and World Languages Expo. The ACTFL convention is a globally recognized comprehensive professional development event for language educators in the United States, providing impactful learning opportunities for education professionals of all languages and at all levels of instruction. World Languages Department Chair Michael Shehan said, “Marwa's session on starting and sustaining an Arabic language program reflects both deep expertise and a passion for language education,  and her commitment to launching and maintaining a strong Arabic language program shows incredible vision and persistence. We’re proud to have such a dedicated educator representing our school at the national level.”
