From now through the end of the semester, any student who achieves perfect attendance—that means showing up every day, on time, and staying the full day—will earn a $5 Dunkin’ gift card.

Operation Santa Claus - If you signed up to wrap spare change boxes for Operation Santa Claus, please meet in Room 215 after school on Wednesday, November 19. This activity should last about 1 hour.

Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2025-26 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.
Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.
The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.

Are you looking for your first part-time job? Do you want to learn how to ask for a job application? Or maybe you just need some ideas for places to apply? Sign up for Mr. Krupa’s Spartan Plus this Friday under Arena Scheduling, Find a Part-Time Job. You will learn how to present yourself when asking for an application, creating a resume, and how to prepare for interviews.
Athletic News
Boys’ Swim & Dive - Tryouts for Boys Swim and Dive will be next week, Monday Nov. 24th. If you can swim, you make the team! A fun, competitive sport that gives you a great workout with no practice on Saturdays. Must be registered online and have an updated physical. Bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. Dive starts before school at 6:00am, and swim starts right after school at 3:05pm. Meet outside the pool doors in the Spartan Lobby outside the Spartan Gym. Questions? See Coach Maciaga in Room 280.
Girls’ Bowling - Girls’ Bowling tryouts are TODAY Tuesday, November 18th. We will meet at the north end lobby after school. Transportation to and from Palos Lanes will be provided. Bowling balls and shoes will be provided as well if you do not have them. You must be registered on the athletics website and have a current physical to try out. Please see coach Faro in room 157 if you have any questions!
