The Girls Volleyball Program is selling Pink Out shirts for their annual breast cancer awareness match TODAY. Shirts are on sale for $15 and can be purchased in Coach Miller’s room - 249. All proceeds will be donated to the Karen Janecek Scholarship.
Student Council and Cheer team members will take part in the Dash for Den on Sunday, October 19th, to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic. Join us this Friday, October 10th, at the JV and Varsity football games! Nothing Bundt Cakes will be selling their delicious bundtlets for $7, and $1 from each sale will be donated to the Dash for Den fundraiser. Come support our football team and a great cause!
Hello Spartans! Are you craving a DELICIOUS treat? Are you excited about the Oak Lawn theater’s production of HADESTOWN ? We hope those answers are YES! TOMORROW we will have a BAKE SALE through all lunch periods. Selling various sweets that we put our love into baking like we put love into our show. We can’t wait to share our treats and have a good day!
This Friday’s Oak Lawn vs. Richards football game will be a GoFan digital ticket-only event. All entrants must present a GoFan ticket for admission.
OLCHS students will have early access to redeem a GoFan ticket prior to general ticket sales open up on Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00 PM.
- OLCHS Student Pre-Sale Start Date & Time: Tuesday, October 7th at 12:00 PM
- Tickets: Oak Lawn students must have a GoFan Oak Lawn Student Ticket. Entry is still free!
- How to Redeem: Go to the OLCHS GoFan page and enter your Oak Lawn student ID as your Access Code to claim your ticket.
- Note: Tickets are limited to stadium capacity. Once capacity is reached, no additional tickets will be sold.
Important Entry Info:
- All Oak Lawn students must show their student ID and have their GoFan ticket scanned at the gate for entry.
- Tickets are required for admission — no exceptions.
- Only students that attend Oak Lawn and Richards will be allowed entry.

From the nurse’s office:
All freshmen must provide the health office with their ninth-grade physical examination and record of vaccinations before October 15th to prevent being excluded from school. Additionally, all seniors must provide the health office a copy of their meningococcal vaccine record before October 15th to prevent being excluded from school. These two requirements are state mandated. Please stop by the nurse’s office if you have any questions.
Students: If you have lost your glasses, please check in the Main Office lost and found. We have several pairs of glasses.

Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2025-26 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.
Club/Team News
Bible Club - If you are interested in learning more about the Bible and the Christian faith, the Bible Club will be having our next meeting this THURSDAY, October 9th right after school in Mr. Zwirkoski’s room - room 212. Anyone is welcome.
E-Sports - Have you ever considered using your gaming skills to pay for college? Join the esports team TODAY at 4:30 to speak with a representative from Greenville University’s esports program. We’ll be discussing how to level up your college opportunities through the power of video games!
FSCAB - FSCAB will meet briefly TOMORROW Wednesday, October 8th in the large conference room. See you there!

Athletic News
Girls’ Softball - Any girl interested in playing softball this spring, there will be an on-field workout at the Spartan Athletic Complex next Wednesday, October 15th at 6:00pm. Bring gloves, bats and any other equipment needed to play. Contact Coach Neubauer with any questions.
