Stuff You Need to Know
The 2024-2025 yearbooks are ready for pickup.
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: should pick the yearbook up during lunch Wednesday 9/3 through Friday 9/5. Students must present an ID. After the week, the remaining yearbooks can be picked up in room 366 before or after school. Personalized books will be delivered directly to the students on Thursday 9/4.
2025 Grads: The graduate, parents, or siblings are able pick up the yearbook in the main office 126 during school hours (7:30 A.M.-3:30 PM). Those from outside the building must check into the greeter station at the Southwest Highway entrance before heading to the office. Remember to check if you bought a personalized book.
Students that need a locker, school issued lock or any other locker related issues, email [email protected]. See your email for further details.
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2025-26 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.
Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.
The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.
Club/Team News
Anime Sci-Fi - Anime Sci-Fi club will meet on Thursday in room 107 from 3:00-3:30 pm. If you like Anime, Manga, Sci-Fi, this club is for you. New members are always welcome. Come check it out and bring a friend.
Black Student Union – BSU will have our first meeting of the year this week on Thursday September 4th in room 29 at 3:05PM.
Creative Writing Club - Are you up for some creative writing fun? Creative Writing Club would love for you to join us this year! We’ll be meeting on Tuesday, September 9th at 3 pm in room 113, right down the hall from the media center. It’ll be a great opportunity to share your poetry, short stories, and other creative works with others. Hope to see you there!
Graphic Design club - Unleash your creativity and bring your ideas to life by joining the Graphic Design Club, where you’ll learn real design skills using industry tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Collaborate on exciting school projects, build an impressive portfolio, and make your mark in digital design! Come join us for the first Graphic Design club of the year TODAY Wednesday, Sept. 3rd in room 146 from 3-4pm. All are welcome.
JCAB - Do you enjoy organizing fun activities with your friends? Do you like participating in community service? Would you like to help make your junior year the best one yet? Then the Junior Class Advisory Board is for you! Come to our first meeting on Monday, September 8th at 3pm in the Media Center. All are welcome, so bring a friend! Athletic News
Girls’ Track & Field - Girls’ Track & Field is back!! We will kick off our conditioning campaign this Thursday, September 4th at 3:30pm. We’ll meet on the track (northeast corner). Please arrive in workout gear ready to run, jump, and/or throw. Participation is open to all interested athletes (our official season begins in January). No experience necessary. Questions?
