Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2025-26 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.
Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.
The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.

Alliance Kickoff Meeting! 🌈✨
Looking for a place to connect, share, and be yourself? Come to the first Alliance meeting next Monday from 3 – 4 in the College and Career Center! Everyone is welcome—bring your friends, bring your questions, and bring your awesome self. Let’s start the year strong together!
Black Student Union – BSU will have our first meeting of the year on September 4th in room 29 at 3:05PM.
FSCAB - Welcome back! FSCAB (Freshman/Sophomore Class Advisory Board) will have our first meeting Wednesday, August 27th from 3:00 to 3:40 in room 113, in the media center hallway. This is a great club to meet new friends and get involved! All Freshman and Sophomores are welcome. See you there!
Gaming Club - Calling all Gamers! Love playing Smash, Mario Kart, FIFA, Madden, D&D, Magic the Gathering, and more? Then, Gaming Club is your new hangout spot every Tuesday from 3-4PM in the Media Center. All are welcome; bring a friend! Our first meeting is Tuesday 8/26.
Journalism - We will have our first journalism meeting TOMORROW Friday, August 22nd at 3:05pm in room 366. You will learn about our 18 event IHSA team. We need writers, photographers, broadcasters, video editors, artists, graphic designers, and more. Please come to our meeting or see Mr. DiFilippo in room 366
STEM - Are you interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math? If so, stop by the STEM club’s first meeting on Monday, August 25th to meet the STEM club sponsors and learn more about the club. The meeting will be held after school in room 222.
Theater – The Oak lawn Theater Program is holding auditions for our Fall Musical – Hadestown! Do you sing? Act? Dance? Play an instrument? Want to learn? Come to the PAC after school on TOMORROW Thursday, from 3-5:30. No experience needed and all are welcome!

Girls Basketball - Any girls who are planning to try out for basketball this season, open gyms will begin on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:30pm-8:30pm in Gym 10. Fall basketball open gyms for girls will be held every Tuesday and Thursday night from August 26th till October 30th. An open gym schedule will be provided Tuesday night. See you on the court!
