For Oak Lawn Community High School badminton player Briana Potempa, these are the traits that set her apart from the competition. Now, she holds one of the top singles’ records in the South Suburban Conference Red because of this desire to win.
“Briana is the most improved player this season on the varsity squad, consistently showing her dedication and passion for the sport,” head coach Eliana Hansen said. “Her commitment to growth is clear as she approaches every practice with intensity and is always eager to learn and seek feedback to improve her game. On the court, Briana always competes with heart and determination, embodying the competitive spirit every coach hopes to see in their athletes.”
