For four years Amanda Youngren has been a reliable teammate for fellow girl bowlers at Oak Lawn Community High School. She served as a mentor and gave a helping hand when needed. Now she is aiming for future success.
“Amanda has been a bright spot across her four years on the bowling team,” head coach Jen Faro said. “Amanda is always there for her teammates, helping them figure out their approach as well as suggesting ways at improving their swing. Amanda has been a teammate that could be relied upon and has always shown her dedication to the team.
“We have been lucky to have her as a Spartan bowler and will miss her next year, and we wish her the best of luck as she pursues her dream of becoming a music education teacher.”
