PASSION DRIVES CONROY TO VOLLEYBALL SUCCESS AT OAK LAWN

The Oak Lawn Community High School girls volleyball team won its second-consecutive South Suburban Conference Red championship and earned the most single-season wins in school history this year. One of the main reasons was the inspired play of senior captain Sinead Conroy. She became a six-rotation player this year and provided the perfect ingredient to serve up a masterpiece season for the Spartans.

“Sinead had a fantastic senior season and led our team as a captain with unmatched passion, energy, and competitive intensity,” head coach Kathleen Miller said. “Her presence on the court was absolutely needed. Her leadership and court presence were a necessary component to our success this season. She was the glue of the team. Sinead represents our program with pride and has left a lasting legacy on this program.”
