Calling all Spooky Spartans! Do you like Fall, scary things, pumpkins, and ghouls? What about all things Halloween? Creative Writing Club is sponsoring the Halloween/Fall Poetry contest! Enter up to 3 times if you would like. Submissions must be Halloween/fall themed and original. Please email your poem to Mrs. Razik [email protected] or Mrs. Madsen [email protected] by TODAY October 28th at 3pm to be eligible to win a prize. Winner will be notified Halloween Eve, Wednesday, October 30th.
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

Athletic News
Cheer - Competition Cheer tryouts will be held TODAY Monday, October 28 and TOMORROW Tuesday, October 29 from 3:30pm to 6:00pm in gym 101. Registration on our Athletic website must be completed prior to the tryout date and a current physical is required. If you have any questions, please see Coach Vanderwarren in Room 123.
Freshman Boy Basketball - Boys Basketball tryouts are on Monday, November 11 and Tuesday, November 12! We will hold a short informational meeting followed by a freshman only open gym immediately after school on Tuesday, October 29 in the Auditorium Gym until 4:30. Girl’s Softball - Anyone interested in playing softball in the Spring, there will be a quick meeting on Wednesday, October 30th at 3:15pm in room 241 to discuss off season workouts. If you can’t make it, reach out to Coach Neubauer in room 241 before school.
