Sophomore Clark Zylius is making strides on the golf course in preparation for what lies ahead at the varsity level. Wednesday, she earned a fourth-place medal at the South Suburban Conference Red meet on the junior varsity level. She helped the JV Spartans take home second place.
As the number-one player on JV this year, she appears to be poised to conquer the varsity level next year.
“Clark has done great all season,” head girls golf coach Kate Mellone said. “She is consistently improving and wanting to do better. She gets along great with the rest of her teammates and is a fabulous asset to our team. I cannot wait to see how she does over the next few years.”
