Senior Molly Sheridan has worked her way to become the captain of the Oak Lawn Community High School girls cross country team this year. At the first meet the season, she lived up to that title as she took third overall, dropping a full minute from her prior year’s best time--finishing in 20:30 for the three-mile course.
“Molly worked incredibly hard this summer,” head coach Sue Szala said. “She is strong, confident, and an inspiration for the other girls. She has a bright season ahead.”
