Stuff You Need to Know

On Wednesday February 7th, the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team beat Richards and TF North in the final regular season meet of the season. The team was led by Shawn Perry with 12 tossups, Allie Gabriel with 3 tossups, Camila Ramirez with 1 tossup, and Kailey Dykema with 1 tossup. The JV team also recorded victories over Richards and TF North. The team was led by Joseph O’Leary with 5 tossups and Darling Balbuena with 1 tossup.

Have you heard of The Morning show? It's a student run concert series in the media center that runs every Friday at 8:00am. This Friday we will have rock band The Average Joes playing songs by the Foo Fighters, Basement, and something from Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Come on out tomorrow and start your day with a cup of coffee and some R A W K (pronounce each letter then the word all together).

Wanna sweet treat?  The Polish Club will be selling Polish doughnuts (paczki) TODAY Thursday, February 8 for $2.50 each during all lunch periods.  Swing by our table for a sweet treat!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Student Council will be selling colorful fresh flowers on February 14, starting at 8:00am in the Media Center & Student Cafe. Depending on supply/demand, they may also be sold during lunch period. $2 flower, $10 for 6, $20 for 15. 

Good morning creative writers! Are you feeling the love? Submit a Valentine’s Day poem by Monday February 12th to be entered into our poetry contest. Only one winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day. Get creative! Please send all entries to Mrs. Madsen or Mrs. Razik.

Breakfast items are now available in the Spartan Lobby from 8:00am-8:25am and from 8:50am – 9:15am on Wednesdays. The price of the complete breakfast meal will either be Free, Reduced ($.30) or Paid ($3.50). A complete breakfast meal includes one entree and a minimum of one, up to two sides (unless otherwise marked). In addition to the complete meal, a la carte items such as breakfast bars, granola bars, etc. will also be available for purchase. Be ready to show your ID and please eat your breakfast BEFORE the start of your first period. Keep an eye out for the breakfast cart in the Spartan Lobby!

Ventra Cards are now available for sale in the Business Office, Room 123. Cost is $2.00. If you’ve already purchased a card online, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to pick up/purchase a card.
