Every team needs that consistent teammate to find success. While the Oak Lawn Community High School boys bowling team has several of those consistent teammates, Gavin Rybicki is the latest Spartan to rise up and face the pressure situation.
He helped lead Oak Lawn to a third consecutive South Suburban Conference Red Championship and an Illinois High School Association Regional Championship. He also helped the team advance to the state finals with a strong performance at the sectional meet.
“Gavin is a three-year member of the bowling team and has been a varsity starter for the last two seasons,” head coach Kevin Walery said. “He was instrumental in the team’s return to the IHSA State Finals by averaging over 200 pins per game in both the regional and the sectional. Great work, Gavin.”
