The OLCHS Varsity team had a great showing at Argo on 1/17 with two victories over conference rivals TF North and Eisenhower. The Varsity Team was led by Shawn Perry with nine tossups, Allie Gabriel with five tossups, and Yumn Elameer with four tossups. Others scoring tossups included Michael Swan, Fabio Noguera, Oluwasemilogo Oyekunle, and Omar Ali. Rizan Ali, Camila Ramirez, and Khulud Abukhroub contributed to many Bonus question points. The JV team had a hard fought victory over TF North and was led by Joseph O’Leary with 17 tossups and Rawan (Rory) Ali with 2 tossups. Good morning, Spartans! The junior class is excited to host our inaugural Winter Formal this year on Saturday, January 20th, from 7-10 PM. Tickets are $15. Tickets will be sold online through Friday January 19th. The QR code for guest forms and ticket purchasing can be found in your e-mail and on posters around the school. The Winter Formal is going to be a great way to reconnect with friends after break and kick off the second semester. We hope to see you there!
Spartans! Are you interested in fun, engaging and hands-on classes? If so, stop by Ms. Hughes Spartan Plus TODAY for the Business and Computer Education Info Session. Here you'll learn all about the different business and computer classes and all the exciting fun these courses provide.
Breakfast items are now available in the Spartan Lobby from 8:00am-8:25am and from 8:50am – 9:15am on Wednesdays. The price of the complete breakfast meal will either be Free, Reduced ($.30) or Paid ($3.50). A complete breakfast meal includes one entree and a minimum of one, up to two sides (unless otherwise marked). In addition to the complete meal, a la carte items such as breakfast bars, granola bars, etc. will also be available for purchase. Be ready to show your ID and please eat your breakfast BEFORE the start of your first period. Keep an eye out for the breakfast cart in the Spartan Lobby!

Ventra Cards are now available for sale in the Business Office, Room 123. Cost is $2.00. If you’ve already purchased a card online, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to pick up/purchase a card.
