The annual Media Center movie field trip is back! And the movie is better than ever! Join a packed busload of Spartans heading to AMC Chicago Ridge to see The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes movie, the prequel to the best-selling Hunger Games trilogy. $20 pays for movie ticket, popcorn, drink, candy, bus ride. Get your permission form in the Media Center today.
The FSCAB annual coat drive is now accepting donations! Please drop off any new or gently used coats to Ms. Sears in Student Services. FSCAB will deliver the coats on Wednesday, November 29th to Meaningful Purpose; a community charity group supporting women and teens in crisis.
Breakfast items are now available in the Spartan Lobby from 8:00am-8:25am and from 8:50am – 9:15am on Wednesdays. The price of the complete breakfast meal will either be Free, Reduced ($.30) or Paid ($3.50). A complete breakfast meal includes one entree and a minimum of one, up to two sides (unless otherwise marked). In addition to the complete meal, a la carte items such as breakfast bars, granola bars, etc. will also be available for purchase. Be ready to show your ID and please eat your breakfast BEFORE the start of your first period. Keep an eye out for the breakfast cart in the Spartan Lobby!

Ventra Cards are now available for sale in the Business Office, Room 123. Cost is $2.00. If you’ve already purchased a card online, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to pick up/purchase a card.

Boys Swim & Dive - Tryouts for Boys Swim and Dive will start next week Monday, Nov. 20th! Tryouts for the swim team will start right after school and tryouts for the Diving Team will start at 6:00am before school on Monday. Please meet in the Spartan Lobby outside the Pool doors and bring a towel, swimsuit, and goggles. All participants will need to be registered online and have a valid sports physical. No experience needed!
Boys Track - It's that time of year again, with track and field right around the corner. The boys track team will have a preseason interest meeting on November 16th in the Jr/Sr lounge after school. We will discuss the offseason schedule and the expectations for the preseason. Come join a winning culture. We are back-to-back indoor champions and took home the trophy last year for outdoor as well. We've had multiple events go all state and broken 4 school records in recent years. Hope to see you there!
Girls Bowling - Registration for winter sports is open, that includes Girls Bowling! You must be registered on 8 to 18 and have an updated physical to tryout. Tryouts will be TODAY Monday, November 13th and TOMORROW Tuesday, November 14th at Palos Lanes. We will leave school at 3:15 to head to the bowling alley, meet in the Spartan Lobby and check in with Coach Faro. Girls Track - Hear ye! Hear ye! Know all competitors by their magnificence. We will arrive for the first annual girls track & field introduction to the domain of Lawn at ye city of Oak, at the hour of five minutes past three of the afternoon of the fourteenth day, eleventh month in the year of twenty, twenty-three in the cafeteria lounge of seniors, juniors, and ye!
