Being a freshman contributor to the girls varsity swim team at Oak Lawn Community High School is a tough challenge. Taking on the added stress of learning the sport of diving as well is simply amazing. Nina Kadlub is doing all of that and more for the Spartans in the pool this year.
Along with swimming in several different events, she is working hard to develop enough div es to compete at the South Suburban Conference Red meet in a few weeks.
“All year she has been making tremendous progress with many different events as well as being a leader in her lane,” head coach Alexandra Woehlert said. “She has a great positive attitude at practice and at meets. You will always see Nina helping in whatever way she can. Putting in the effort for both swimming and diving, Nina has been truly a great addition to the team. We cannot wait to see it all pay off at the conference and sectional meets.”
