Principal Dr. Jeana Lietz and Technology Coach Janet Meyers presented at the 2023 Association of Illinois School Library Educators (AISLE) conference at the iHotel and Conference Center in Champaign, IL. Media specialists Jennifer Sidlow and Eileen Wholley headed the conference programming committee for the second time.
According to the AISLE website, the conference theme, Strength in Partnerships, "focused on the most important aspects of school librarianship: the partnerships forged between students, teachers, administrators, public libraries and wider communities."
Dr. Lietz, a current member of the Lincoln Award book selection committee, presented "Vote for Me: The 2024 Lincoln Award Nominees". Mrs. Meyers presented "Establishing a Student-Run Help Desk in Your Media Center". Presentations were attended by administrators, teachers and school librarians
