Stuff You Need to Know
Are you looking to complete service hours? The Media Center has 10 volunteer spots every Wednesday before school, 8:00-9:00am. Stop at the Media Center desk to sign-up ahead of time and reserve your spot.
Ventra Cards: New Ventra cards are available for purchase in the Business Office, Room 123. The cost for a new card is $2.00. If you already have a card, you can renew it for the 2023-2024 school year in the Business Office. Please note you will not be excused from class so plan accordingly. Business Office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am –3:30pm.
Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screen shot of your issue.
Club/Team News
Bible Club - If you are interested in learning more about the Bible and the Christian faith, the Bible Club will be having a very short introductory meeting TOMORROW right after school in Mr. Zwirkoski’s room - room 212. We will be giving an overview of what we do as a club and what we’ll be doing this year. Anyone is welcome.
Creative Writing Club - Hey all you creative writers! Are you interested in writing poetry, short stories, and being published in an annual magazine? Creative Writing Club will meet for the first time this year on Tuesday August 29th at 3pm in the 117, the college and career center. See you there!
Fall Musical - Are you Ready to ROCK!? Auditions for the fall musical Rock of Ages are TODAY for Freshman & Sophomores, TOMORROW for Juniors & Seniors starting at 3:30pm after school. If you can’t come to your grade level day, THAT’S OK! Come either audition day. Friday August 25th will be the call backs. All are welcome to audition for the show. Don’t have any musical experience? That’s fine! You will learn and be a part of our award-winning team and get the opportunity to perform alongside other new members and returning members. Fishing Team - Do you know what time it is? It’s fish o’clock! The fishing team meets every Wednesday at 3pm in room 372. It doesn’t matter if you have never fished in your life or if you’re an expert angler, everyone is welcome to join the fishing team.
Freshmen/Sophomore Class Advisory Board: Looking to get involved this school year but don't know where to start?! Join the Freshmen/Sophomore Class Advisory Board! This club offers leadership opportunities to Freshmen and Sophomore students by planning service-learning opportunities, fundraising events, and participating in school events! Meetings will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 3:00pm. Join us for our first meeting on Wednesday, August 30th at 3:00pm in the College and Career Center (RM 117).
Improv - Have you ever wanted to be a part of an improv group? This is your chance! Directly after the musical auditions TODAY and Thursday, from 6:00-7:00pm in the Performing Arts Center, PAC, we will hold auditions for the school's improv team. You can come to either day for auditions. If you cannot make either day, please email Mr. Kallenborn; [email protected] for information before Thursday.
Mathletes – Our first meeting and practice is TODAY Wednesday after school in 209. New members welcome!
Scholastic Bowl - Do you love science, history, math, literature, current events, sports, and much more? If the answer is yes, come to the first scholastic bowl meeting of the year TODAY Wednesday at 3:05 in room 366.
Senior Class Advisory - Make an impact on your senior year by joining the Senior Class Advisory. Our first meeting is TODAY Wednesday, 8/23. We will decide our homecoming float and vote on the executive board in two weeks.
Spartan Screamers - Spartan Screamers will meet for the first time this week TODAY Wednesday 8/23 at 3:15 PM in room 380.
Visual Arts Club – All students interested in joining Art Club, we will meet for the first time in Mrs. Clark’s room 234 TODAY Wednesday Aug 23rd. This informational meeting will start right after school. Please email Mrs. Clark if you have any questions.

Girls Swim & Dive - If you like the water, come out and try girls swim and dive! There is something for everyone and no experience is needed! For information go to the pool at 3:30 after school to speak with Coach Woehlert!
