Tech Internship Students Learn at Apple

Tech-Internship

Students from Technology Internship visited the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Apple staff members taught these students how to use the Notes and iMovie apps to create a storyboard and movie using personal photos and videos from their visit to Apple's high-tech classroom and the beautiful surrounding area.  Apple staff members also shared best practices on how to teach iMovie to peers, OLCHS faculty and community members.

Technology Internship consists of nine students who form the OLCHS iTeam, the student-led group who manages the busy help desk in the Media Center during the school day.  These students assist peers with a variety of services, including new device set-up, password recovery and device maintenance.

Field Trip chaperone was Janet Meyers, Technology Coach and Apple Learning Specialist.
