Stuff You Need to Know

This week’s “Word of the Week” is “verisimilitude” which means to give the appearance of being true. What is true is that the verisimilitude of reading is never better than the actual act of reading.

We do not accept items that are dropped off during the day.  This includes lunches, money, iPads and all other items.  Do not have items dropped off here.  It is a safety and security issue.

Winter athlete registration is now open for all winter athletic programs.  This includes basketball, bowling, swim, and wrestling.  Please use the registration link and step-by-step instructions available on the athletic page to complete this.  Only pre-registered athletes will be able to tryout/practice the first day of winter season.  Don’t miss your chance to join our winter programs.  Please direct any questions to the athletic office in room 227.  Go Spartans!

OLCHS will be offering the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 11th. This is a great opportunity to practice for the SAT test. Registration is now open for all Juniors and Sophomores. Interested students should come with the $16 registration fee to the Student Services Office by September 21st
