Congratulations to the Girls’ cross-country team on their strong performance at the Lemont meet on Tuesday. Your Lady Spartan took first place in the quad meet against Shepard, Lemont, and Oak Forest. Leading the way for the Spartans was junior Salsabeel Awwad who finished 1st overall and setting a new personal best 3-mile time of 20:02. Salsa was quickly followed by freshman Molly Sheridan, junior Natalia Cetera, and junior Mila Revell who finished 8th, 9th and 11th.
Congratulations to all Spartan runners on an excellent race and good luck this Saturday at the Tinley Park Invitational.
Stuff You Need to Know
Yearbook Distribution Info- Current Students (Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors): All next week (9/20-9/24), we will be distributing yearbooks to current students during the lunch periods and after school from 3:05-3:35 in the student cafeteria. Students should bring their school ID. After next week, students should see Mr. DiFilippo in room 366 for their books.
Class of 2021 Grads: Their yearbooks are available too. If they purchased a personalized book (with names, etc.), they should use the Southwest Highway entrance and pick it up from the main office 126 during regular office hours (7:30-4:00 PM). If they bought a regular yearbook, there will be staff members in the Spartan lobby to help distribute books from 3:15-3:45 PM all next week as well. If that short window doesn’t work, just use the Southwest Highway entrance, and pick up a book in 126 during office hours (7:30-4:00). Thank you
A draft homecoming ballot is posted outside Office 126. Please check it and see Mrs. Sidlow in the Media Center today by 3pm, if there are any issues. Online voting will be Friday. Check your email & Canvas for details.
