Stuff You Need to Know
This week is suicide prevention week. Please check the hallways to participate in our "Take what you need” campaign through the SADD club. In addition, OLCHS is facilitating our mental health screening unit in all health classes this week. The message is clear. When you are worried about signs of depression with someone you know- ACT. Acknowledge you or a friend may have symptoms of depression, CARE about your friend by offering reassurance and TELL a trusted adult. The best way to help is to identify a trusted adult such as a teacher, counselor, social worker, or parent and go to that person for support. Please visit suicidepreventionlifeline.org for more information.
