Stuff You Need to Know

OLCHS will be hosting a community blood drive on Saturday, October 15 from 9AM – 3PM in gym 127.  All students, staff, and community members are welcome to attend.  Donating blood saves lives.  Please consider coming out.  All OLCHS students will receive 1 service hour for a donation. 

The Girls Volleyball team will be selling Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness shirts for their match TOMORROW October 4th. Shirts are $15 and will be on sale from September 29th-October 4th. All proceeds will be donated to the Karen Janecek Scholarship. Stop by Room 108 or contact Coach Miller ( to purchase a shirt!

Girls Powder Puff Flag Football has been rescheduled to TODAY Monday October 3rd.  Game 1 - Freshman/Sophomore vs. Juniors; Game 2 – Winner vs. Seniors;  Game 1 will begin at 6:30pm, Game 2 will begin at 7pm.  All students must present their ID for entry.  There will be a $2 entry fee at the gate.  See you there!

Cafeteria – Just a reminder…. You MUST have an ID in order to get breakfast and lunch from the cafeteria. If you do not have your ID with you, go to on your iPad and login with your school Google account. A QR code for the website is available near each cashier. If you receive a message that you don’t have a photo, please go to the Media Center to have a photo taken and get your ID printed.

College Visits

Representatives from the following schools will be visiting OLCHS this week:

Tuesday, 10/4 – Loyola University Chicago, pd. 2 and St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame, pd. 4/5
Thursday, 10/6 – Benedictine University, pd. 2 and Northwestern University, pd. 4/5
To attend a visit, please sign up to attend in Naviance. All passes must be approved in e-hall pass.
