Stuff You Need to Know

No Class on Monday!  Monday, October 19th  is a Teacher Institute Day. Enjoy the long weekend! Tuesday, Oct. 20th will be a Schedule B day. 
Blood Drive- Help save a life and donate blood!  OLCHS is hosting a Blood Drive on Saturday, Oct. 24th from 10am-4pm in the Auditorium Gym 127.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 877-258-4825 or visit and use code OL94. Appointments are required! Please enter at Door 9 and you must wear a mask!
College Rep Visits- Representatives from the following schools will be virtually visiting with Spartans this week:   
Friday, 10/16/20 – DePauw University 12:30 pm
To attend a visit, please sign up to attend in Naviance. To do this:
1. Log into Naviance
2. Click on “Colleges” and “Colleges Home”
3. Scroll down to the bottom right, where you will see a list of college visits scheduled at OLCHS.
4. Select the visit you want to sign up for.
Registration will close one hour before the start of the visit. A link to the visit will be sent to all students registered at the start time of the virtual visit. 
Halloween/Fall Poetry Contest- The Spartan Creative Writing Club presents a Halloween/Fall Poetry Contest!  Entries are due by 10/21/20 and the winner will be announced on 10/29/20.  Winner of the best poem gets a $10 Amazon gift card and a bag of Jolly Ranchers! Poetry submittal QR code below:

Pumpkin Decorating Contest- The Visual Arts Club and National Art Honor Society are hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Students are allowed 1 entry per person.  You’ll need to fill out the entry form to be eligible for a prize, but we would also love for you to post your picture to #olchspumpkin.  You can win a $10 Amazon gift card!  Entries are due Oct. 30th at 3:00pm. Happy Decorating!
Spartan Gear-  Spartan apparel sales on Monday, Oct 19th  have been cancelled.  Stay tuned for more information and a future date
Tech Help Desk- OLCHS will now be offering daily iPad and app tech support from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM in the Media Center.  Students will need to check in at the Southwest Highway entrance, door 7.  All students who come on campus must wear a mask and will be temperature checked and screened for COVID symptoms.  No appointments are necessary. If unable to come to school, please take a screenshot of your issue and email
