Stuff You Need to Know

 

 

 

 

 

Admissions reps from the following schools will be visiting this week:

                Tuesday 10/16 – Trinity Christian College, pd. 5/6 and Olivet Nazarene University, pd. 8/9             

             &nb​sp;  Wednesday 10/17 – College of St. Benedict & St. John’s University, pd. 2 and St. Louis College of Pharmacy, pd. 5/6

                Thursday 10/18 – Northern Michigan University, pd. 10

                Friday 10/19 – Canisius College, pd. 2

Please see or email Mrs. Kenny for a pass to attend any of these visits at least one day before the visit.  Seniors who have these schools saved in Career Cruising will automatically receive a pass to attend.

 

 

 

 

Club/Team News

 

 

Boys Bowling. Boys Bowling tryouts are only 6 days away!!!  All Boys interested in trying out need to come to Room 28 and sign up for tryouts with Coach Walery.  You must have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office and be registered on 8to18.com.  Come to Room 28 to sign-up before or after school any day this week.  You must sign-up in advance to tryout.  See you in Room 28.

 

Cheerleading. Attention all students interested in joining our Cheerleading Team.

Open gym will be held on Thursday October 18th 4pm-6pm in Gym 101 for anyone interested in trying out for cheer this coming season. Then October 22 will be the evaluation day! Anyone who is interested in cheerleading can come and we would love to see lots of new faces!

 

SADD - Students Against Destructive decisions meets TODAY after school in room 108. We are preparing for RED RIBBON WEEK! 

Alliance - Alliance has a meeting on Wednesday, October 17th after school in room 108. Come join us as we reflect on the lunchtime assembly "Sit with us," as well as discuss the remainder of Bullying Prevention Month

Vegan Vegetarian Discussion Group - There is a new group forming at OLCHS, and we are trying to see if there is any interest in creating a club! If you are vegan, vegetarian, or want to learn more about the lifestyle, come to one of our meetings! Mr. Brida is hosting them on Mondays, after school, in room 108.
