Stuff You Need to Know


Do you want to help needy families this holiday season? Need to earn community service hours? The 12th annual Operation Santa Claus Program is quickly approaching. We will be adopting needy families from within OLCHS and providing them with a variety of holiday gifts that they would otherwise not be able to afford. If you are interested in participating in Operation Santa Claus this year, please attend the informational meeting after school on Monday, November 28th in Room 215. All students are welcome!



Club/Team News



Boys’ Track & Field. The Boys’ Track and Field program will begin its preseason conditioning program starting Monday, November 28th. There will be a meeting after school TOMORROW, Tuesday November 22nd in the Little Theater for all boys interested in joining us for preseason workouts. The preseason calendar and policies will be discussed. Get ahead of the competition before the season starts in January!


Chess. If anyone is interested in joining the chess team, we are still accepting dedicated members. We have practice on Mondays and Thursdays until 4:30 in Room 220, and matches most Tuesdays. Come to room 220 or see Coach Faro for more info.


Girls’ Soccer. For any girl thinking about trying out for the girls soccer team this spring, there is an amazing opportunity for you. The Wednesday Evening indoor soccer league at the Oak lawn pavilion. It costs $40, and you must have all the appropriate attire, guards, soccer socks and shorts.
