Stuff You Need to Know
2nd Semester Drivers Education Students - Permits can be picked up on Wednesday November 16th in room 281 from 8:45-9:15 am. All students are required to have their permit with them on the first day of class on January 10th, and have three hours of practice time completed behind the wheel.
Green and White Night is this Friday night!
The 22-23 Boys Basketball team will make their debut at 6:15 pm, followed by the main event, the return of the Students vs. Staff basketball game at 7 pm! Come see some of your favorite teachers and staff members extend their winning streak over the students. The evening will also feature performances by our Cheer and Dance teams. Food Drive - Spartans, it's time for Student Council's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! For 2022, we're trying things a little differently. Students are encouraged to bring items to their FAVORITE TEACHERS! Participating teachers are DeMatteo, Hennelly, Jepsen, Kallenborn, Kolimas, La Spina, Meyers, Strelow, Vazzana, J. Wargin, Watson, Wirtz. If you don't have any of these teachers, choose one or bring items to the Media Center! If you have more than one, donate as much as you can to as many as you can! The winning teacher & winning class get a prize. Items will be collected until November 21. All items go to two local food pantries. Show your generosity, Spartans!
– Just a reminder…. You MUST have an ID in order to get breakfast and lunch from the cafeteria. If you do not have your ID with you, go to myid.olchs.org on your iPad and login with your school Google account. A QR code for the myid.olchs.org website is available near each cashier. If you receive a message that you don’t have a photo, please go to the Media Center to have a photo taken and get your ID printed.

Boys Swim and Dive – For any boy interested in joining swimming or diving, there will be an informational meeting TOMORROW Tuesday, Nov. 15th right after school in Room 280. No prior experience needed. Tryouts begin next Monday, Nov. 21st. If you have any questions, see Coach Maciaga.
Boys Track and Field -

). The Boys Track and Field team has been excellent over the past 6 seasons, with 15 events qualified for state, 2 all-state athletes, and 2 school records broken! We won the in indoor conference champions last season and just missed being outdoor champions by 6 points! If you want to join our tradition of success, we will have a meeting THIS Friday, November 18th
at 3:30pm in the Little Theater to discuss preseason! Hope to see you then!
- Registration for winter sports is open, that includes Girls Bowling! You must be registered on 8 to 18 and have an updated physical to tryout. Tryouts will be TODAY Monday, November 14th and TOMORROW Tuesday, November 15th at Palos Lanes. Girls Track and Field - The Girls Track and Field workouts will be starting right after Thanksgiving break, with the season starting in January. Any girls interested in joining track & field must attend a mandatory informational meeting, Tuesday November 22nd , right after school at 3pm in Room 211. We will start promptly at 3:10pm. This is a must-attend meeting if you have any interest in joining the team this year. We will discuss the preseason workouts and season calendar.
Athletes currently in a winter sport must see Coach Fiene by January 14th.
