Blood Drive - You can earn 1 service hour for participating in the Blood Drive!
Help save a life and donate blood! OLCHS is hosting a Blood Drive on Saturday, April 10th from 9am-2pm in the Auditorium Gym 127.

Join us for a pajama-themed movie night!
The OLCHS community service club, Cross Countries Rapid Response Team, will be hosting a pajama-themed movie night on Saturday March 20th.  This will be the first large-scale social event in over a year, and a great way to meet up with friends you haven’t seen in-person for a long time!  Seats are very limited, so sign up with the link below as quickly as possible!  Check out our event flyer and sign-up link for more detailed information.

IHSA Short Film Festival -  OLTP needs Short Film submissions for this year's Short Film Festival

Here are some details:
  • Film submission would be due March 19th.
  • It is highly recommended that you work with a group of students to get this completed.
  • Film should be original in nature and no longer than 5 minutes long (from opening title screen to final credits)
  • Judging is based on creativity, effective storyline, technical aspects, acting, artistic merit, and overall presentation.

Scholarships/Seniors - This week is "Rock the FAFSA" Week!  If you are a senior who has not filed FAFSA yet, or a junior who is graduating early next year, you can sign up for an appointment for help here:

Club/Team News

Debate Club - If you are interested in learning and talking and debating issues of interest, issues of impact, issues of importance, then this is the place for you. We gather together once a week on Wednesday 2:30pm in the media center or on Webex, to learn the lovely art of expressing your ideas in an organized and impassioned manner. Cheerleading – Sideline Season - Tryouts for the football sideline cheer season will be held TODAY Tuesday March 16th  from 3pm to 4:30pm in Gym 101.  You must register on 8 to 18 and have a current physical on file prior to 12pm on the day of the tryout.  Questions - contact Coach Vanderwarren at

Girls interested in playing soccer this Spring -

Off Season Conditioning for Girls Soccer begins TODAY Tuesday March 16th, from 5:15 – 6:30 at the SAC.
