Please join SADD in celebrating Sleep Awareness Week. This year’s theme “Begin with Sleep” highlights the importance of good sleep health for individuals to best achieve their personal, family, and professional goals.
Short Naps! If you're tired throughout the day and want to take a nap, it's best to limit them to 20 minutes so that you're not up all night! Please visit sleep.org for more information.
Admissions representatives from the following schools will be visiting OLCHS this week:
- Thursday, 3/14 – Benedictine University, pd. 2 and Western IL University, pd. 5/6
Students should sign up in Naviance to attend any of these visits. Seniors who have been admitted to these schools should email Mrs. Kenny to request a pass to attend.
Are you looking for a summer job? Make sure you check the updated job board outside of Student Services Office 117. Several opportunities for this summer have been posted, including those from Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, Official Finders, SportsKids, Inc. and more.
Boys’ Tennis. Ever wondered what tennis is all about? Never played before? NO PROBLEM! There will be tryouts for Junior and Seniors on March 14, and 15. All tryouts will be until 5pm at the Oak Lawn Racquet Ball Center. Transportation will be provided from OLCHS to the Oak Lawn Racquet Ball Center. If you are being picked up, please make sure your ride is at the Oak Lawn Center at 5pm on the days of your tryout. Freshmen & Sophomores who have no experience are ENCOURAGED to come to this meeting to learn more. Whether you are an experienced player or have never touched a racquet before in your life you are more than welcome to come. Hope to see you there!
