Please join SADD in celebrating Sleep Awareness Week. This year’s theme “Begin with Sleep” highlights the importance of good sleep health for individuals to best achieve their personal, family, and professional goals.
Did you know that teenagers need 8-10 hours of sleep each night in order to feel and perform at their best level? Humans are the only mammal that willingly delays sleep! Please visit sleep.org for more information.
Football. Anyone who is interested in playing football next season, there is a team meeting on Tuesday, March 12 at 8am in the Little Theater. Please see Coach Novak if there are any questions.
Boys’ Tennis. Ever wondered what tennis is all about? Never played before? NO PROBLEM! There will be tryouts for Freshman and Sophomores on March 13. Junior and Seniors will tryout on March 14, and 15. All tryouts will be until 5pm at the Oak Lawn Racquet Ball Center. Transportation will be provided from OLCHS to the Oak Lawn Racquet Ball Center. If you are being picked up, please make sure your ride is at the Oak Lawn Center at 5pm on the days of your tryout. Freshmen & Sophomores who have no experience are ENCOURAGED to come to this meeting to learn more. Whether you are an experienced player or have never touched a racquet before in your life you are more than welcome to come. Hope to see you there!
