Stuff You Need to Know

Valentine's Day/Spring Poetry ContestThe OLCHS Spartan Creative Writing Club presents… A Valentine’s Day/Spring Poetry Contest!  Send us your original poetry related to Valentine’s Day/Love or the upcoming Spring season.  Entries are due by Monday, February 8, 2021.  The prize for “Best Poem” is a $10 Amazon Gift Card and a bag of Jolly Ranchers.  The winner will be announced February 12th.  Please check your student e-mail for our contest flyer with details and links to submit your poems.  One entry per person.
 
OLCHS iTeam- Calling All Geniuses!
Any student interested in becoming part of the OLCHS iTeam must complete this application.
 
The student technology internship program is designed for students who want to become technology learning resources in their school communities. Through the program, students develop advanced skills so they can offer support to faculty and peers who need help using Apple devices and creativity apps. By participating in the program, students make a difference to the learning organization and develop important life and work skills. This is a full-year credit-bearing course.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Meyers at  jmeyers@olchs.org.
 
Senior Gear-The Senior Class Advisory Board (SCAB) would like to offer the opportunity to celebrate their senior status with senior gear: hoodies, sweats, t-shirts, a windbreaker, and this year, a mask.

Club/Team News

Debate Club- If you are interested in learning and talking and debating issues of interest, issues of impact, issues of importance, then this is the place for you. We gather together once a week on Monday at 12:30, to learn the lovely art of expressing your ideas in an organized and impassioned manner. Get your ethos, pathos, and logos on here.
