Come out and support your classmates! We have Paint the Gym Purple basketball games Friday afternoon and Karaoke Showdown at Reavis Friday night. Saturday is the Oak Lawn Park District Special Recreation All Star games. Make sure you read the email from Mr. Wargin for more information about these events.
This Friday, January 27th is our annual Paint the Gym Purple event! It’s a night where we can come together as a Spartan community and honor those that have fought, are fighting, or have succeeded in their battle with cancer. We have a full night of basketball with our JV Girls Basketball program kicking things off at 4:30pm. Varsity Girls Basketball will follow at 6pm, with Varsity Boys at 7:30pm. All week, Paint the Gym Purple t-shirts will be available for purchase in the cafeteria for $10. Supplies are limited so make sure to pick yours up soon! Funds from the event will go toward the Cancer Survivor Scholarship. We hope to see you at the event on Friday.
Cafeteria – Just a reminder…. You MUST have an ID in order to get breakfast and lunch from the cafeteria. If you do not have your ID with you, go to myid.olchs.org on your iPad and login with your school Google account. A QR code for the myid.olchs.org website is available near each cashier. If you receive a message that you don’t have a photo, please go to the Media Center to have a photo taken and get your ID printed.

Club/Team News
Gaming Club - Are you a gamer? The competitive gaming team is looking for players to compete in the spring season and IHSA playoffs.
The competitive team consists of the following games.
• Rocket League - 3 person team
• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 4 person team
• Super Smash Bro Crew Battle - 5 person team
• NBA2k - 2 person (compete individually)
• FIFA - 2 person (compete individually)
• Smash Bro Solo - 2 person (compete individually)
Please email Mrs. Meyers if you are interested in competing or stop by the Media Center. Each student can only compete in one game.
