Stuff You Need To Know
TONIGHT: Did you ever wonder what the difference is between the SAT and the ACT? Would you like to know which test is right for your student? Both parents and students are invited to the Media Center this Tuesday, February 27 to find out. Mrs. Szala and Mr. Krupa will be showing students and parents the similarities and differences between the SAT and ACT. Students will also learn how to prepare for the tests and how to sign up to take either test. The presentation will be from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
Seniors – there are several scholarship deadlines approaching!
Mrs. Kenny’s mailing deadline for any of the IFT scholarships is the end of the day today!
Mrs. Kenny’s mailing deadline for any of the IL AMVETS scholarships and the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association scholarship is tomorrow (2/28) morning before the start of 1st period.
Other deadlines this week: SEMA Scholarship for aspiring mechanics, Gilda’s Club of Chicago essay contest, and the Project Yellow Light scholarship.

Boys’ Track and Field. It’s time to Rise Up for the 2018 Boys’ Track and Field program. Our season is already underway, but there is still time to join the program. Come be a part of a sport that showcases pure athleticism, drive, and toughness. Anyone with a desire to compete and strives to reach their fullest potential is welcome. If interested, see Coach Cryan in room 203 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The last day to join track is March 6th.
Boys’ Volleyball. Attention to all boys interested in playing volleyball this spring, the tryouts for varsity and sophomores will be on Monday, March 5th from 9 – 11 am in the Spartan gym.
