Did you ever wonder what the difference is between the SAT and the ACT? Would you like to know which test is right for your student? Both parents and students are invited to the Media Center this Tuesday, February 27 to find out. Mrs. Szala and Mr. Krupa will be showing students and parents the similarities and differences between the SAT and ACT. Students will also learn how to prepare for the tests and how to sign up to take either test. The presentation will be from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
Juniors and Seniors! Are you looking for summer employment? Sign up to attend this month’s Spartan Plus with a Professional and learn about the One Summer in Chicago Internship program. Students interested in attending these visits should see or email Mrs. Kenny for a pass. Juniors who have these schools saved in their Career Cruising plan will automatically receive a pass to attend.
Boys’ Tennis. Ever wondered what it would be like to play tennis? Never played before? NO PROBLEM! There will be a meeting on Wednesday February 21st in Room 225 for all Boys interested in playing tennis this spring season. Information on indoor practice time, season schedules, and any other questions will be answered. Freshmen & Sophomores who have no experience are ENCOURAGED to come to this meeting to learn more. Whether you are an experienced player or have never touched a racquet before in your life you are more than welcome to come. Hope to see you there! Tryouts begin today, Feb. 26th at an off-site location so please make sure you attend the meeting. Please also remember to register on 8to18.
Boys’ Track and Field. It’s time to Rise Up for the 2018 Boys’ Track and Field program. Our season is already underway, but there is still time to join the program. Come be a part of a sport that showcases pure athleticism, drive, and toughness. Anyone with a desire to compete and strives to reach their fullest potential is welcome.
