Each day during Black History Month, the Black Student Union will share information on a topic or person. This week’s theme is Black Creators and Activists.
 
Malcom X - He was a American Muslim minister and activist during the civil rights movement. He argued for Black power, Black self-defense, and black economic autonomy, and he encouraged racial pride. Senior Gear-The Senior Class Advisory Board (SCAB) would like to offer the opportunity to celebrate their senior status with senior gear: hoodies, sweats, t-shirts, a windbreaker, and this year, a mask.

Valentine's Day/Spring Poetry ContestThe OLCHS Spartan Creative Writing Club presents… A Valentine’s Day/Spring Poetry Contest!  Send us your original poetry related to Valentine’s Day/Love or the upcoming Spring season.  Entries are due by Monday, February 8, 2021.  The prize for “Best Poem” is a $10 Amazon Gift Card and a bag of Jolly Ranchers.  The winner will be announced February 12th.  Please check your student e-mail for our contest flyer with details and links to submit your poems.  One entry per person.
