Black History Month: Stereotypes and Tropes
The Black Student Union members shared information about stereotypes and tropes this week based on things members have experienced and felt. We thought it was important to share these experiences to help our school community become aware of these stereotypes, because we see them as so ingrained in our media and society that people who are not overtly racist can perpetuate them unknowingly. Thank you for reading our announcements each day; check here next week for uplifting statements!
