Stuff You Need to Know
Turnabout tickets will be sold Tuesday 2/19 – Friday 2/22 in the student cafeteria during all lunch periods.. Tickets are $10 per person. Turnabout is Saturday February 23rd from 7:00 – 10:00 PM in the auditorium gym. This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland. See Ms. Horn in room 214 with any questions.
Student Council is having a FLOWER SALE on Feb 13 before school and during all lunch periods. Get your favorite people colorful, beautiful, fresh flowers for $1 each. Get yours early because once they’re gone, they are gone.
Need service hours? The Girl Scouts need your help this Saturday! Help unload boxes of cookies for delivery this Saturday, any time between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Stay as long as you can – every bit of help counts. Other opportunities this weekend include the Food Pantry at Our Lady of the Ridge, and the Children’s Museum of Oak Lawn Valentine’s Day party. Boys’ Baseball. There will be an informational meeting for freshmen and sophomores interested in baseball on Tuesday 2/12 in Room 27 at 3:05pm. There will be an informational meeting for juniors and seniors interested in baseball on Thursday 2/14 in Room 27 at 3:05pm. Any questions see Mr Gerny.
SADD: February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Dating violence is more common than many people think. One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults.
Wear orange on Tuesday, February 12th to raise awareness about teen dating abuse as an issue and promote healthy relationships!
