Stuff You Need to Know




Congratulations to the Spartan Dance Team for taking 3rd place in the Pom division on Saturday at the Eisenhower High School IHSA dance invitational! This Sunday, December 10th,  they will take the floor again at Bremen High School. Come out and cheer them on!


This weeks word of the week is deleterious, meaning: Having a harmful effect; injurious. “Not knowing proper grammar proved deleterious to the defendant.

Students who took the PSAT this October - Your scores will be coming out next week! You will attend a presentation with Mr. Pastiak this Friday during Spartan Plus to learn about how to access, interpret, and utilize your scores to prepare for the SAT. Meet in the Little Theatre on Friday. Contact Mr. Pastiak with any questions.


This week is Stress Relief week with many Spartan Plus options to choose. All sessions are found in Arena Scheduling under the Subject: Other. Today is Puzzle Time with Ms. Kenny, Clay Ornaments with Ms. Clark,  Walk the Track with Mr. Cryan, Relaxation Music with Ms. Perras, Movie Room with Dr. Lietz, and Yoga with Ms. Rafferty. Club/Team News





Operation Santa Claus. Operation Santa Claus is here again! We have adopted 11 families within the OLCHS community who need a little help this holiday season. Please visit the Christmas trees in the student cafeteria any day this week to choose a candy cane and make someone’s Christmas wish come true!



STEM Club. There will be a STEM club meeting after school TODAY. We will be meeting in room 261.
