Stuff You Need to Know



The Joe Pajac scholarship application and essay is now available in the athletic office and on the athletic website.  Applications and essays are due on April 21st.  Please do not wait until last week to complete, stop by and get it today or go online.  Remember to thoroughly review the scholarship requirements before submitting.  Remember, the Booster Club will be giving away THREE $1,000 again this year.  Any questions please see the athletic office.  Thank you and good luck.

Need service hours?  There is a lot going on this weekend!

Friday 4/7 - Moms of Multiples set up shifts available between 5:30 – 9:30,  St. Gerald Spring Craft Fair set up between 2:00 – 7:00 pm.

Saturday 4/8 - Moms of Multiples all day Saturday, 2-hour shifts available between 7:30 – 2:30. The Music Boosters also need students helpers for the LuLaRoe Pop-Up boutique between 7:00 –2:00, and the St. Gerald Spring Craft Fair between 7:00 – 3:00.  Willow Springs Woods Restoration Project, help needed between 9:00 – 12:00.

Sunday 4/9 – St. Gerald Bunny Breakfast help needed 8:00 – 12:00.

Students interested in any of these volunteer opportunities should see or email Mrs. Kenny to sign up.


The 4th annual STEMinar event will be held this Monday, April 10 in the Auditorium Gym at 7:00 pm.  OLCHS alum Nick Contino will share his path to becoming a Process Engineer for Exxon Mobil.  A panel of college reps will also be present to talk about various science, technology, engineering and math programs at the schools.  This event is open to all students, parents and community members.  Questions about this event?  See or email Mrs. Kenny!



Club/Team News


Badminton. Congratulations to the girls varsity badminton team who is now 3-0 in conference after beating Oak Forest 12-3, TF North 15-0, and Argo 12-3. Winners included Nicole Seremet, Sydney Janik, Anna Gil, Julie Andrist, Amelia Unger, Salaam Khater, Kelly Downs, Mia Menzel, Larissa Ptak, Emma Minelli, and Hadeel Yasin.
