Club/Team News

Congratulations to both the Varsity and JV Boy’s tennis team who were able to take a win over Marist yesterday.  JV continues their undefeated streak with a record of 4-0 as they take on TF South today.  At the Varsity level 1st doubles Patrick Skupien and Matt Marusarz fought 3 sets but were able to pull out a victory with ice in their veins as they held off a match point for Marist.  2nd doubles team of Aki Mahdi and Viraj Paul also went 3 sets to win but were cool and focused at the end to make sure there was NO CHANCE for Marist to come back and win.  3rd doubles Adam Baniewicz and Wadah Omer took care of business winning in straight sets and making a tremendous comeback in the 2nd set to send their opponents packing.  Good luck to the boy’s today as they take on TF South.

The sophomore girl’s badminton team defeated Reavis and Waubonsie Valley the last two nights to improve their overall record to 7-5-1 (seven five and one) and up their conference record to 4-0 (4 and 0). Great job ladies. Come out tonight to cheer on your Spartan badminton team as they take on conference powerhouse TF South at 4 P.M.
