For the third year in a row, the Spartan Speech Team is Conference Champions. Overall, the team had 21 entries in final rounds and 15 competitors qualified for All Conference.
Sofia Serna was Tournament Champion in Extemporaneous Speaking, Tomas and James Walsh were Tournament Champions in Humorous Duet Acting, and Alondra Camacho was Tournament Champion in Original Oratory.
Ella Moore was Runner Up in Dramatic Interpretation, Emma O’Malley-Galvan was Runner Up in Humorous Interpretation, Sofia Serna was Runner Up in Impromptu Speaking, Grace Sievers was Runner Up in Oratorical Declamation, and Mary Majcherek was Runner Up in Radio Speaking.
Jake Majerczyk and Dan McLawhorn earned 3rd Place in Dramatic Duet Acting, Lucas Sodaro earned Third Place in Impromptu Speaking, Alondra Camacho earned Third Place in Informative Speaking, Melak Shehadeh earned Third Place in Oratorical Declamation, and Grace Sievers earned Third Place in Prose Reading.
James Walsh placed 4th in Informative Speaking, Robert Cook placed 4th in Impromptu Speaking, Omar “Ramo” Alqazaq placed 4th in Special Occasion Speaking, Michael Mueller placed 5th in Impromptu Speaking, and Emma O’Malley-Galvan placed 5th in Original Comedy. Jada Jackson placed 5th in Poetry Reading, Melanie Cabrera placed 6th in Dramatic Interpretation, and Cylia Srmek palced 6th in Radio Speaking. Layla Nemri, Stella Chinchilla, Saad Mulhem and Elliot Dziemiela, and Camille Listowski were all Top Novice in their events!
