Salvador Montes and his wife Abbi, also a social worker, love their dog Coco.
Salvador double majored at Concordia University Chicago in history and psychology and recently graduated with his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Dominican University. He hopes to pursue his doctorate in social work. Salvador is currently working towards becoming a licensed clinical social worker and is a member of the honors social work society Phi Alpha.
Salvador is the boys Cross Country head coach and will serve as assistant Track and Field coach.
He loves the diversity at Oak Lawn Community High School and the elements of PRIDE that he sees the students exhibit on a daily basis. Salvador said, “I hope to be of service to any student who is in need of extra support. I also want to use data and evidence based interventions to guide my social work practice.”
