Spartans Welcome Physical Education Division Chairperson Will ONeill

ONeill-Will

Will O’Neill, the new Division Chairperson for Physical Education, recently celebrated his 10th Anniversary with his wife Samantha with their 6-year old daughter Catelyn. Will earned his B.S. from Illinois State University and is currently completing his Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Will was the 2018 Illinois Athletic Director Association District 1 Athletic Director of the Year. Previously he served as Head Volleyball Coach for Boys and Girls at Little Village High School in Chicago where he was the Athletic Director from 2014-2019.

Will said, “I'm really proud of the Physical Education Department at Oak Lawn and how professional everyone is.  It's a veteran staff that enjoys their work and knows how to get the most from their students. I've also been really impressed with how helpful the entire staff is. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to continue my career working with kids here at OLCHS.” Will plans to continue building the Oak Lawn Community High School Physical Education department into the best that it can be. There is a phenomenal foundation in place, and he wishes to continue building upon it.
